Service Description
Incoming Grades K-4 Mrs. Bloom is bringing her favorite camp to Boise! Each day, students will bring their favorite doll (any brand is welcome!) as we dive into hands-on projects inspired by two beloved historical characters from American Girl. Together, we’ll blend history, creativity, and plenty of fun. We’ll begin by exploring the journey of Kirsten Larson, learning about her immigration from Sweden and pioneer life on the prairie. Campers will create: Cozy rag rugs Tiny yarn dolls Classic pioneer toys Next, we’ll travel to the Southwest to discover the world of Josefina Montoya and her life on a New Mexico ranch. Inspired by her story, campers will design: Leather-stamped bookmarks Beautiful keepsake treasure boxes Traditional corn husk dolls To celebrate an amazing week, we’ll enjoy a grand finale walking field trip with our dolls for ice cream in Hyde Park, followed by playtime at Camel's Back Park! This camp is the perfect mix of history, art, imagination, and summer fun! Tuition: $50 per class Need to leave early or miss a few days? No problem-just let us know! We offer prorated tuition to help accommodate your schedule. Life gets busy, and we're here to make things easier for you.
